A MOTORCYCLIST was found dead in a stream near a North Lancashire village.
The motorcyclist - who has been named as 55-year-old Gary Vickers from Chorley - was discovered lying face down in the stream just off the A683 Quernmore Road near Caton by a member of the public at around 1.20pm on Sunday.
Mr Vickers' bike was lifted away from his body but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
